| Carolina has always loved art and science. She is an MD, with a specialty in pathology,
who works as a medical terminologist and enjoys creating art, sometimes about complex health topics and sometimes just for fun.
Her books have been featured in The Atlantic magazine, the On Parenting blog of The Washington Post and the Advocate, a magazine from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Carolina lives in the Washington DC area. Her books include: Daddy's Home - a picture book that explains PTSD to children. Mommy, Was Your Tummy Big? - a picture book that explains the donor egg process to children. (Also in Spanish and Donor Sperm versions - both soft cover.)
