| Carolina has always loved art and science. She is an MD, with a specialty in pathology,
who works as a medical informatics consultant and also enjoys writing and illustrating picture books that simplify complex health topics.
Her books have been featured in The Atlantic magazine, the On Parenting blog of The Washington Post and the Advocate, a magazine from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Carolina lives in the Washington DC area with her husband and 17 year old son.
